Welcome to Rivendale Shires. Our farm is located in beautiful Loveland, Colorado, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We have been involved in breeding and promoting Shires for over 20 years. We are dedicated to producing exceptional Shires, with bone, muscling, and superior temperament being our major objective.

Beginning with a solid foundation of the old style American Shire Draft Horse mares, we seek to breed with exceptional stallions to produce quality Registered Shires, Shire-Friesian, and Shire-Paint warmblood foals. We do not produce many offspring, but we do produce high quality offspring that we are extremely proud of.

Our services also include horse drawn special occasions, specializing in weddings, hayrides, parades, Christmas rides, educational functions, charities and benefits within the Northern Colorado area.
